ABOUT
Duck Hunters 2 is the sequel to the frankly insane Duck Hunters, based on the reality-TV-style adventures of a quirky family united by camouflage, firearms and an unhealthy enthusiasm for shooting ducks. Nolimit City brings the clan back into the woods, but this time the ducks are armed, angry and no longer interested in being sitting targets.
What begins as another scruffy hunting trip quickly becomes a full-scale woodland war. The forest catches fire during the bonuses, the birds fight back and the hunters suddenly look considerably less confident. It is classic Nolimit City: dark, deliberately tasteless and about as subtle as a shotgun fired inside a garden shed.

Duck Hunters 2 plays across a 5-reel, 6-row Scatter Pays grid, with wins formed by landing at least eight matching symbols anywhere in view. Winning symbols disappear before new ones drop into place, creating room for repeat wins and rapidly growing multipliers. The biggest trophy on the wall is a 40,000x maximum win.
Betting Options and Bonus Features
Duck Hunters 2 has a default 96% RTP. Its high volatility means the game can leave players firing blanks before suddenly filling the screen with multipliers. The wide betting range supports both cautious hunters and those arriving with a much larger ammunition budget.
Every Scatter win places a 2x position multiplier beneath each removed symbol. Winning again on the same position doubles its value, with individual multipliers capable of reaching a monstrous 16,384x. Random multipliers can also appear at the start of a spin, so one innocent-looking patch of dirt can become the most valuable real estate in the forest.
Wilds substitute for regular paying symbols, while xWays symbols transform into paying icons and increase their position multipliers by 2x, 4x or 8x. Infectious xWays expand every matching symbol on the grid to the same size, potentially spreading one symbol across a much larger area.
Bomb symbols wait until the winning combinations have finished before blowing themselves and every symbol above them off the reel. Their own position receives a 2x multiplier increase, followed by 4x, 8x and progressively larger values further up the reel. Upgraded Bombs become even more destructive, clearing symbols both above and below their landing position.
Landing three Bonus symbols awards 7 Duck Hunt Spins, four trigger 8 Hawk Eye Spins, and five unlock 10 Big Game Spins. Position multipliers remain active throughout each feature, while Extra Shot symbols can extend the hunt.
Duck Hunt Spins begin with one random upgrade, Hawk Eye Spins receive two and Big Game Spins arrive with three. The possible upgrades introduce Infectious xWays, improve the Bomb, convert Extra +1 Shots into Extra +2 Shots, award two additional upgrades, add five random opening multipliers or provide another spin at the start. The more Bonus symbols land, the more heavily armed the feature becomes.
Duck Hunters 2 also offers six direct bonus buys:
Feature Buy | Cost | What It Awards |
Duck Hunt Spins | 80x | 7 spins with one random upgrade |
Hawk Eye Spins | 240x | 8 spins with two random upgrades |
Lucky Draw | 275x | A random chance of triggering one of the three bonuses |
xWays Juicer | 500x | 7 spins with guaranteed Infectious xWays |
Big Game Spins | 700x | 10 spins with three random upgrades |
Bomb Juicer | 2,800x | 7 spins with guaranteed Upgraded Bombs |
The xWays Juicer guarantees Infectious xWays on every spin, while the Bomb Juicer guarantees Upgraded Bombs. Neither includes the other random upgrades, but each keeps its chosen weapon loaded throughout all seven spins.
The Nolimit Booster menu adds several ways to modify the base game. The 3x Bonus Booster guarantees a Bonus symbol on reel two, while the 30x Bonus Hunt places one on the initial spin and every avalanche triggered by a win or Bomb. Day 8, Day 64, Day 512 and Day 2048 Spins cost 10x, 90x, 800x and 4,000x, setting every position multiplier to the corresponding value before the spin begins.
Side Hustles allow players to bet on particular events, including removing specific characters, landing two Bonus symbols, reaching the x16,384 multiplier or ending with a dead spin. Several can be activated together, although each one adds to the total cost of the round.
An Extra Spin may also appear after a qualifying Scatter win, carrying the existing position multipliers into one more round. A cheaper version halves those multipliers before continuing, while Bonus symbols are prevented from landing during the additional spin. It is one last pull of the trigger, not another route into free spins.
Roshtein’s Take
I think Duck Hunters 2 understands exactly what a sequel should do: preserve the original madness, increase the firepower and let the ducks become even more dangerous. The persistent position multipliers remain the star of the hunt, especially when several hot squares begin doubling through one long chain of Scatter wins.

There are almost too many ways to play, but that excess suits Nolimit City perfectly. Between the three main bonuses, Infectious xWays, Upgraded Bombs and the possibility of pushing one position toward 16,384x, every promising setup feels capable of turning into complete woodland carnage. With 40,000x waiting at the top, this is one duck hunt where the biggest trophy definitely will not fit above the fireplace.
