ABOUT
Pragmatic Play has dusted off one of its most bankable ideas and hauled it out into the desert. Ra vs Osiris is the studio's Egyptian-flavoured follow-up to the wildly popular Zeus vs Hades Gods of War, swapping Greek gods for a showdown between the sun god and the ruler of the underworld.
It keeps the two-deity, pick-your-side hook that made the original such a talking point. Side with Ra and the reels burn a fiery red; back Osiris and everything sinks into an eerie green.

Beneath that colour filter, a brooding backdrop of a great pyramid and glowing obelisks sets the mood. Every inch of the presentation screams spectacle, from the booming light show to the animated god-vs-god sequences between spins.
There's a genuine heavyweight-title-fight energy running through the whole thing. Two ancient powers trade blows, and the sense of occasion rarely lets up.
Where this Egyptian clash really flexes, though, is the ceiling. That max win of 25,000x the stake towers over the original and matches the beefed-up Zeus vs Hades Gods of War 250.
Betting Options And Bonus Features
Under the hood, Ra vs Osiris plays out on a 5x5 grid across 15 paylines, with wins forming the traditional left-to-right way. Stakes flex from small, budget-friendly spins right up to high-roller territory, so most bankrolls are covered.
On the numbers side, the RTP sits at 96.53%. Pair that with high volatility and you get a game where quiet spells and sudden big hits are all part of the ride.
Each mode carries its own symbol set, though the payouts line up identically. Filling out the paytable are 10-A royals at the low end, four animal symbols in the middle, and either Ra or Osiris as the top-paying icon.
Five matching royals return 1x, whereas five matching premiums pay between 5x and 20x. Wilds appear on all reels, stand in for every regular pay symbol, and hand over 20x for a full line of five.
Beyond the colour swap, your chosen mode nudges the maths, shifting how often the bonus lands and reshaping the buy costs. The real fireworks, though, come from a feature set built around expanding wilds, free spins, special bets and feature buys.
The VS symbols are the headline act, capable of landing on any reel. When one hits in the base game or free spins and a win is on the cards after it grows, the Expanding Wild stretches to cover the entire reel.
Once it locks in, the two gods clash and settle on a multiplier anywhere from 2x to 1,000x. Every win running through that wild takes the boost, and when several multipliers join the same win, their values are added together.
Free spins are where the game really opens up. Dropping 3, 4, or 5 scatters in the main game awards 6 free spins, with minimum wild multipliers of 2x, 4x, or 8x respectively.

Before the round begins, a wheel gamble can shove that minimum as high as 100x, though a poor result costs you the whole thing. Inside the bonus, every Expanding Wild also transforms into a Walking Wild.
While wilds occupy the grid, respins keep firing, and each Walking Wild shuffles one reel to the left per respin before dropping off the leftmost edge. Should several be walking at once, respins carry on until every last one has cleared the screen.
Retriggering is very much on the table too. Landing another 3, 4, or 5 scatters adds 6 more free spins and lifts the minimum multiplier by 1, 2, or 3 levels, climbing as high as 1,000x.
Bonus Buy Options
Impatient players get five ways to buy straight into the action: three single-spin special bets and two free-spins buys. Every price shifts with your mode, and Osiris always asks more than Ra.

Roshtein's Take
For me, Ra vs Osiris is a polished, well-built follow-up that leans on proven mechanics rather than reinventing the wheel. The walking wilds, respins and that max win of 25,000x the stake give it real punch, and the mode choice is a smart way to tune the risk. It won't be for everyone, but there's more than enough spectacle and upside here to make it worth a few spins.
